| Synopsis

A person / a man diving deeply into his own universe starts to realize the reality in an inventive, superlative, dreamy and funny way.

When exploring his own apartment, his relation with space, and with his body, his desires and his imagination become totally re-dimensioned. He explodes into the street, the city, into eternity, into a sensory and imagistic game, in a play of the ordinary and extraordinary, a spill for the urban and inventing a possible and habitable city, a danceable city.

In this project we had to face the challenge for the director/choreographer to direct the actor and performer Goos Meeuwesen and the film-team from a distance, creating a bridge between Rio de Janeiro and Amsterdam on invitation of Cambio Productions and with the support of the Netherlands. With this method, it was possible to create an authorial language for a project, which was obliged to deal with the limitations and challenges for our creative projects and processes during the pandemic. We feel that the need to create, to communicate, to cooperate and to invent new solutions made the process and the result of the film even stronger.
