| Synopsis

HERE IS A SPACE
Safe space. This doesn’t always mean closed doors, soft chairs, sympathetic faces. For some of us, it will always mean big beats, meeting a stranger’s eye seconds before a drop and feeling familial like my god we could have shared a womb during the same year. It will mean walls sweating ceilings dripping fingers gun shaped and pointing, a reload making its way to the heart of the matter to our matter to what matters and what doesn’t to the pain inside which is the pain we don’t want to find ourselves faced with in a small space with a closed door, we might want magnitude, a huge cavernous roof which used to cover stored goods from an Empire that stored us up to be released, here in this city, in this space. Our safe space.
