Founding member, art director, choreographer, and principal performer of Die Wolke art group. Graduate of Folkwang Universität der Kunst Pina Bausch and National Dance School, Athens. Outside her work with Die Wolke, for which she was the choreographer and/or principal performer (see Die Wolke CV), Drosia has collaborated with the National Theatre of Northern Greece, dance company Sinequanon, the Thessaloniki Concert Hall, M. Siezckarek, B. J. Riepe, C. Kaido, R. Leoni, S. Brinkman, and many others. She has also choreographed for theatre group Ars Moriendi.

In 2017 and 2018, she participated in the Gdansk International Dance Festival, while in the summer of 2018 she represented Greece by teaching at Atom Choreographic Series in Sofia, BG. In 2019, she participated in the project Enclosures / Pass-throughs at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall, along with the 6daEXIt improvisation Ensemble by composer Alexis Porfiriadis. She is also collaborating with composer Dimitri Papageorgiou on the creation of a future piece. Drosia teaches contemporary dance and contemporary ballet in dance schools in Thessaloniki, as well as her own choreography workshop.

Sound artist and composer of electroacoustic/electronic music, creator of two albums, including Shaper of Form, which has been awarded the Qwartz prize for research and experimentation (Paris 2007). Since 2015, he is responsible for Die Wolke’s technical and musical needs. Also known as a producer and sound engineer, he has composed for a variety of of theatre and dance performances and has directed the series of experimental dance films Imago, a work that has received plenty of awards and festival participations around the world. Dani is also a member of Paradigm Weave, a sound design firm based in London, as well as Occam’s Sharpener, designers of audiovisual media, VFX, and integrated immersive experiences. With these groups, he has created soundscapes, sound art works, automations, and special effects for various projects. He has also created videos for the State Museum of Contemporary Art in Thessaloniki, and has presented a number of installation works. Dani has taught acoustics and music technology at the AMC Metropolitan College. He holds an MA and BSc from the Sonic Arts department of the Lansdown Centre for Electronic Arts, Middlesex University, London, and has conducted research at the Acoustic Communication department of Berlin’s Technische Universität.

Die Wolke art group is a non-profit organisation for the performing arts and associated technologies, based in Thessaloniki since 2009. Its chief aim is the research and realisation of contemporary dance and interdisciplinary original works, as well as the support of local artistic activity, through events and collaborations. Die Wolke is particularly known for its use of technology. The group has produced a number of original works, and also Thessaloniki Cinedance International, an international screendance festival. It supports the operation of independent art space Vitruvian Thing. The interactive dance performance Trajectory of an Idea (2019), funded my the Greek Ministry of Culture, as well as the 2nd improvisation meeting for dance and technology Stream: synergy meeting vol.2 (2019), supported by the NRW Kultursekretariat in Düsseldorf, have solidified Die Wolke’s position as a leading practitioner in the field of applied technology and the performing arts, in particular regarding the use of inertial sensors and wireless technology. Stream vol.2 in particular was selected for presentation at the 8th xCoAx conference in Graz, Austria. ∆topia is the latest in this series of works. Die Wolke’s latest work is an adaptation of Shakespeare’s The Tempest.
