| Synopsis

A dance/audio-visual project, whose main object is the dancing body, seeking to make an introspection about human resilience to social, health, and political crises, and to the future. Conferring a wealth of meanings, the scenes launch the proposal to several elements in dialogue with dance in a context where isolation/social distance has become the new normal, highlighting the relevance of this reflection.

Currently, contemporary dance brings to the surface a freedom of creation and invention of movement, the possibility to awaken and make it possible to develop an authentic and original score in any body!

From the occupation of the various spans and landscapes of nature, visual connections are sought between these spaces and the “urban body” of the dancer; produced by simultaneous body movements in a fusion of signs that make us reflect in this context to raise the question: Which dance, for which space?

Dealing with this theme is essential amidst current discussions about the state of the arts and its place as a transforming vehicle, as well as thinking about culture and its dissemination in an accessible and free way on digital platforms, thereby fostering interest in dance in alternative spaces and instigating the generation of reflection and belonging, as part of the urban landscape. Adaptation to the current context where humanity is engaged in an apparently endless struggle against COVID-19.
