| Biography

Born in Munich. Diploma studies in intermedia and conceptual art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague (AVU) with Milan Knížák, Milos Sejn and Magdalena Jetelová; and in film and video art in the studio of François Lejault and the studio for book design and graphics of Jacques Hémery at the École supérieure d’art d`Aix-en-Provence. Subsequently, film studies at the Hochschule für bildende Künste in Hamburg. Completion of the master’s degree in spring 2019 with the feature-length film “619 I 6m über Normalhöhennull”. Active as a video artist (video and 3D animation) for “Revenants” (2020) by Ursina Tossi (Kampnagel Hamburg), among others.

My work combines dance and political discourse with intense physicality and moves between NRW,Hamburg, Berlin, Munich and since 2020 internationally. My pieces are created from a queer-feminist position and together with the people I work with. The aesthetics are inspired by pop culture, science fiction, activism, feature films, horror genre and the visual arts and convince the audience through strong images, dance virtuosity, content and choreographic conciseness and atmospheric density. Artistic access and integrated audio description are part of my work. In co-production with Kampnagel and TanzfakturKöln I have produced BARE BODIES 2017, BLUE MOON 2018, WITCHES 2019, REVENANTS 2020 and FUX 2021 – a piece for young audiences with and without visual impairments and will produce and show COSMICBODIES 2022 – a piece on alien bodies and extreme othering. I am currently exploring artistic access to connect and expand the interests and spectrums of perception of audiences with and without impairments and disadvantages. Since 2019 I have been working with artistic audio description and in May I will start a residency on the topic of “young people and classism” in collaboration with Tanzhaus NRW.
